I was shocked to receive a report about gold mining happening in one of the residential properties in Marlborough, I went on site and ‘lo & behold’ the workers were busy at work saying they were digging a well. I personally dint believe it & reported them too EMA

Images Raise Suspicions of Illegal Mining

Kadzombe posted images showing a deep, narrow shaft that bore a closer resemblance to a gold mine rather than a standard water well. The visuals have sparked concerns among local residents, as illegal mining within residential areas poses significant threats to both safety and the environment.

The incident is just one example of a broader issue, where individuals or groups exploit gold deposits in urban areas without proper authorization, often under the guise of legal activities.
