Amanda’s secret fling with 71-year-old businessman Robert Davies began as she rose to fame on Our Yorkshire Farm and was first exposed by The Sun.

The star had been accused of living a “TV lie” as a result of her affair which sent shockwaves to all those involved.

However, Amanda and Clive, who share nine children with one another, have since put their split behind them to take on a brand new renovation challenge at Ravenseat Farm.

The process will be chronicled in the pair’s first reality series since the news of their split and Amanda’s affair became public.

Ahead of the launch of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, the star spoke to Lorraine live from her home where she admitted that the pair have been able to work through their differences after not getting their “happy ending” with each other.

As Lorraine pressed the star on how working together despite their split had been, Amanda admitted there has been plenty of “distractions” to focus their attentions on.

Amanda said: “It is hard but that’s what makes this programme relatable.

“You know, you don’t always get the happy ending that you want and things go wrong, but that’s life isn’t it?

“It is how you get through it and how you negotiate it and I’m hoping that people will enjoy watching [on the new series] a taste of the countryside and all the kids.”

She further added: “I mean, come on, we’ve got a lot of distractions and there is just so much going on.

“First and foremost, we are farming and trying to keep everything going in that way.

“We have our fingers in so many different pies – it’s just unbelievable.”

In the new series, which begins tonight, Amanda admits that her ex Clive does “her head in” as they both open up about their break-up.

In an exclusive first-look shared with The Sun, Amanda says to the camera: “I do his head in, that’s his words.

Amanda Owen’s relationship timeline

The Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen has lived most of her life in the public eye as her Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm shined a spotlight on her rural life with ex-husband Clive and their nine children. Sadly, Amanda’s relationship with Clive hit the rocks and in 2022 the couple announced their split. Let’s take a closer look at the timeline of their relationship, plus Amanda’s other notable romance…

Amanda married Yorkshire farmer Clive Owen, who is 19 years her senior, in 2002.

The couple welcomed nine children together over the course of their marriage.

Their nine children, in descending order of age, are Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy.

There is a large age gap between some, with the oldest, Raven, now 23 and the youngest, Nancy, only 8.

Clive and Amanda appeared to be very much in love as they documented their home and working life together at Ravenseat in their Channel 5 series.

However, they shocked their fans on Thursday, June 9, 2022, when Amanda shared an Instagram post confirming that she and Clive had split.

She said: “Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

“This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.”

Clive has since opened up about his part in their split, admitting his “anger drove her away.”

Following their split the Sun revealed that Amanda had been having a relationship with web designer Robert Davies, who is 22-years her senior.

He was a “good friend” to them, Clive said as he confirmed that Amanda’s new relationship began after they had separated.

However, in 2024, Amanda revealed that her relationship with Robert had ended and that they were no-longer on speaking terms.

Meanwhile, Amanda and Clive have become good friends and continue to co-parent their children and work together on the farm.

They will reunite for a new Channel 4 documentary series that will see them attempt to restore an neglected property on their land.

“He does my head in, I do his head in, but we are both basically on the same side.”

Clive adds: “I’m very practical, so that’s my side of things, but Amanda, she’s very good at saying how she wants things.”

The initial 12 months of the project and sees Amanda, Clive and their children work with a team of local tradespeople to slowly bring their ambitious vision for the farmhouse – known locally as Anty John’s – to life, battling against the unforgiving Dales weather on one of the most remote building sites in Britain.

Meanwhile, Amanda delves into the house’s rich history, uncovering the incredible tale of Anthony Clarkson, a Swaledale mapmaker and diarist who lived there in the mid-1800s and documented life in this stunning corner of the Dales.

The ex-couple are parents to nine children who vary in ages from seven to 23 years old.
