Many have speculated that the woman in the video is of her.
Most of her fans have stood by her and asked other users not to share the pictures.
Oviya’s Private Video Surfaces Online
Oviya finally reacted and posted a cryptic picture on her Instagram handle where she crossed her fingers, subtly hinting at the leaked video.
After Oviya shared the picture on Instagram on Saturday, she even responded to a creepy user asking for a longer video version with the comment, “Next time bro.”
Her fans also appreciated the calm and fun-filled response of the actress and the way she handled the situation.
When a user stated that the video was 17 seconds long, she replied, “Enjoy.”
Another user suggested that the video could have been longer.
To this, the actress replied, “We’ll see next time.”
The screenshots of Oviya’s replies have been widely shared on the social media platform X, even though the actress has disabled the comments.
Many users also contend that the video is fake and is AI-generated.
Many users also argue that the pictures were altered to trouble the actress, who has acted primarily in Malayalam and Tamil films.
Oviya, whose real name is Helen Nelson, made her acting debut in the 2007 Malayalam film Kangaroo, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
She debuted in Tamil cinema in the 2009 Tamil film Naalai Namadhe.
She has worked in several films, notably Hello Naan Pei Pesuren, Ganesha Meendum Santhipom, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu, Muthukku Muthaaga, and Yaamirukka Bayamey. Her most recent film was opposite Yogi Babu in the Tamil film Boomer Uncle.
She has been in the industry for almost a decade but gained prominence when she appeared in 2017 on the Bigg Boss Tamil 1 reality TV show, which premiered on Star Vijay, with Kamal Haasan as host.
