Australia’s most glamorous WAG may have to get used to life in what she describes as ‘boring’ Adelaide, with her footy star boyfriend set to remain in South Australia through 2025 and beyond.
Port Adelaide ruck Ivan Soldo was probed by St Kilda during the AFL draft period, which ends on Wednesday.
That was music to the ears of his partner Chelsea Becirevic, who had previously said Adelaide had “been a struggle for me” and that she could not see herself living there permanently.
The influencer, who followed Soldo from Richmond to the Power, even took the extreme step of leaving Adelaide without her partner to work for an airline in Dubai.
‘Temporary [Adelaide] it’s fine. But in the long run I think Melbourne or Gold Coast are for me… maybe even Syd,” she told her social media followers.
Fortunately for Soldo, Becirevic quickly packed up her airline job and the couple reconnected on the Gold Coast.

Becirevic then told her supporters that she was struggling in Adelaide, which led to Soldo requesting a move to St. Kilda, but that now appears to have fallen through
There appeared to be light at the end of the tunnel for the long-suffering Becirevic as the Saints became interested in Soldo as a back-up to take on Rowan Marshall before 2025 and a return to Melbourne seemed imminent.
However, Nine’s Tom Morris has reported that the deal is off as the Saints balk at Soldo’s questionable injury history.
St Kilda are taking a more cautious approach to list management after a string of player signings ruined by injuries.
Most notable was the recruitment of Sydney Swans superstar Dan Hannebery, who was paid a staggering $800,000 per season to play just 18 games in four years.
Soldo, 28, has a history of knee problems but has reportedly not undergone a medical examination in St Kilda.
It now appears Soldo will serve out the remainder of his contract at Port Adelaide, which expires in 2026.

Becirevic posted images and video to her Instagram after the couple’s unveiling in Melbourne was made public for the Victorian Young Liberals gala ball.
She captioned one of the images, “Well, that didn’t take an unexpected turn.”
At the same event, former Prime Minister and Hawthorn boss Jeff Kennett was criticized for calling a woman a “rude little b****” while delivering a keynote address.
Young Liberal President Dean Dell’Orso was forced to intervene as several people in the room called for Kennett to be removed from the event.
“With all due respect to Mr. Kennett, I would like to apologize to my friend at the front,” he said.
‘I’m against political correctness, but we want to change the culture within the Liberal Party.
‘We want to do politics differently. I want everyone to feel safe and respected in this room.”
Kennett has since apologized.
“I’m not going to try to make excuses, but you understand it was in response to something that happened and I was very disappointed.”
