Devon Mostert, the wife of Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert, says she is facing hateful, racist backlash from liberals after defending Ron DeSantis against Kamala Harris.
“This is disgusting,” Devon said exclusively Fox News. “I honestly can’t imagine coming into someone’s DMs or commenting on someone’s photo of their family and talking about the skin color of my children.”
Devon, who is white, and Raheem, who is black, married in 2017 and have three sons. And while she says she brushed off someone who called her a “white, snowflakes, gold-digging woman,” Devon was less tolerant when someone referred to her children.
“When you talk about my children, you’re really crossing a line,” she said. ‘I know who I am. I know my heart. I know my family dynamics. I know my husband. They think they know me, and they don’t know anything.’
Her views on Harris and DeSantis made headlines this week after the vice president attacked Florida’s governor for rejecting her aid offer amid the fallout from Hurricane Milton.

“Moments of crisis should really be the moment when anyone who calls himself a leader says he’s going to put politics aside and put the people first,” Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, said of DeSantis. “People are in desperate need of support right now, and playing political games with this moment, in these crisis situations, these are the height of emergencies, is just completely irresponsible and selfish.”
Devon, a supporter of DeSantis, referenced Harris’ quote on social media while attacking President Joe Biden’s praise for the vice president.
“In case you missed it, Kam Kam went on a rant to the media yesterday about how selfish and extremely responsible DeSantis is. The math isn’t math, sister.
“They’re sinking their own ship.”

She also added, “No one has time, Kamala – especially not for her to say anything [B.S.] such as: ‘We can unburden ourselves through what has been.’
“She’s trash. Textbook trash.”
Devon also added a pro-Donald Trump post to her story on Wednesday, praising the Republican leader for housing 275 Florida workers for free at his Doral Miami resort amid the hurricane.
Annah Tagovailoa, wife of injured Dolphins quarterback Tua, shared the post along with Devon.
Speaking to Fox, Devon said she attacked Biden and Harris because their criticism of DeSantis made no sense to her.
“That really triggered me, especially because they are part of the same government, but they were both spreading very different stories,” she said. “That, in my opinion, is selfish and completely irresponsible.”
