The latest casualty is Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega, and the genesis of the latest scandal can be traced to a post by @vibes_with_moonlight, which alleged that Jenna Ortega had bagged the role in Wednesday because of having an affair with Diddy.

The post was able to rake in more than 16.1k plays by the time this article was being written. The video also claimed that the actress admitted receiving $45 million for the role.
The post’s caption read:
“Problem no dey finish. SHOCK NEWS: Leaked Video Jenna Ortega ‘ADMITS’ To Sleeping With Diddy To Get Lead Role In The Movie Wednesday And The Amount 45 Million USD. VIDEO ADMITS FOR Jenna Ortega.”
However, the post has no relevance since it references a leaked video whose existence is nonexistent.
The rumour can be traced to a completely different buzz related to the relationship between Ortega and Diddy after Netflix released a video about the behind-the-scenes happenings for the upcoming season of Wednesday.
Diddy has been arrested on charges of sex trafficking and prostitution and is awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Wednesday is a story that revolves around the stoic daughter of the Addams Family and has become one of the most viewed shows on Netflix in 2022.
In a ScreenRant interview, the show’s creators revealed that Jenna was chosen for the role from a long list of potential possibilities primarily because of her precision in her performance.
Baugh stated,
‘The lead of any show becomes your collaborator in the show; they just do it. It’s just inevitable. And this character, there is precision to it.
