TYRRELL COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — The Superintendent of Tyrrell County Schools announced on Friday that they are stepping down from the position, effective November 8.
Dr. Karen Roseboro has served the district since October 2022. She is now set to join the Anson County Schools Executive Leadership Team.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have served the students, staff, and families of Tyrrell County Schools,” said Dr. Roseboro. “Together, we achieved remarkable progress, and I am proud of our positive impact on our community.”
The Tyrrell County School Board has started the process of selecting a new Superintendent to replace Dr. Roseboro.
