New photo of missing mom-of-four Suzanne Clark Simpson emerges as cops detail chilling call husband made to his brother

A NEW photo of a missing mother-of-four has emerged as investigators uncover a chilling phone call made by her husband to a family member.

Suzanne Clark Simpson, 51, was last seen on Sunday evening when a neighbor said she and her husband, Brad Simpson, got into a heated argument at their home in Olmos Park, Texas, a suburb of San Antonio.

The Olmos Park Police Department said that before Suzanne disappeared, she and Simpson, a wealthy real estate agent, attended a private club called The Argyle on Sunday evening for a party.

Witnesses told investigators Suzanne was seen wearing a long black dress and heels.

However, a neighbor who lives across the street from the Simpsons told a Texas Ranger officer that he overheard a heated argument between the couple sometime between 10 and 11 pm that evening.

The neighbor told investigators that when he looked out his window, the argument had become physical between the pair, who have been married for 22 years.

“He described that he observed that Mr. Simpson was grabbing Ms. Simpson by her upper torso area to gain control of her body,” a police arrest affidavit obtained by The U.S. Sun read.

“He stated that he observed that Ms. Simpson was attempting to get away from Mr. Simpson’s grasp as he tried to pull her downstairs.

“He advised that it appeared that Mr. Simpson was clearly attempting to keep Ms. Simpson from running away.”

EERIE PHONE CALL

Investigators said that when the couple was out of the neighbor’s viewpoint, he grabbed a flashlight and went outside looking for the Simpsons.

“He said that a short time later, he heard two-three screams from a wooden/brushy area east of his residence,” the affidavit said.

The neighbor went back into his house, and about an hour later, he told investigators he had observed Simpson, 53, leave the residence in his black 2019 GMC pickup truck.

About an hour or two later, the same neighbor said he saw Brad return to the house alone.

Since the suspected domestic violence episode, Suzanne has not been seen or heard from.

Olmos Park police interviewed Simpson’s elder brother, Barton, and learned he had received a phone call from his family member on Monday, where he “apologized for all the problems that he had caused.”

Barton posted a statement on Facebook where he said the family was cooperating with police in Suzanne’s disappearance.

“Our family is devastated by the disappearance of our beloved Suzzane,” he wrote.

“We are doing everything we can to fully cooperate with law enforcement, and our first priority is to find her and bring her home.

“Our second priority is to surround her children with love and ensure they are protected during this incredibly difficult time.

“We are desperately seeking answers and pleading for anyone with information to come forward. We greatly appreciate the public outcry and support, and we are aligned in wanting answers and resolution.

“We ask the public to respect our privacy, but we also deeply appreciate the outpouring of support.”

Barton urged anyone with information about Suzanne’s whereabouts to call Olmos police, “Your help could make all the difference.”

BRAD SIMPSON ARRESTED

The affidavit also describes how, on Monday, Simpson received a phone call from their daughter’s school informing them that the child had not been picked up.

When approached by police, Simpson told officers that his wife usually picks up their daughter from school but was described as “uncooperative” during the interview with investigators.

Authorities also learned that the couple’s 5-year-old daughter told school officials at Howard Elementary that her “mom and dad were fighting.”

The young child told school administrators, who relayed the information to investigators, that her dad had allegedly hit her mom in the face and possibly pushed her into a wall.

The girl said she observed her mother with a bruise on her elbow and that her father had taken her mom’s cell phone away, according to the affidavit.

Simpson was arrested on Wednesday and charged with family violence. He has not been charged in connection with Suzanne’s disappearance.

“Many of the people are telling us that there has been tension in the family,” Olmos Police Chief Fidel Villegas told NBC affiliate WOAI.

“Surely foul play, the more time passes, the more we believe foul play was involved.”

Villegas is asking anyone who may have noticed Simpson’s pickup at an unusual location to contact Olmos police.

Suzanne is a mother of four, two of whom she shares with Simpson.

“What isn’t common, what is unusual is that this was a woman who worked and was very dependable and loved her children and was always in contact with her children and her family and her friends, and suddenly she stopped after Sunday night,” Villegas added.
