TNT Sports has announced a major new addition to this season’s NBA coverage.
Basketball legend Vince Carter will be joining the likes of Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal on the channel from this month.

The 47-year-old will serve as a regular studio analyst on TNT Tuesday.
Discussing his new role, Carter said: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to expand my role with the TNT Sports family.
“With top-notch people, productions, and coverage of the NBA, I deeply appreciate the Tuesday night crew for saving a seat for me.
“It’s an honour to be a part of it, and I’m looking forward to having some fun this season!”
Carter is set to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame this weekend.
An eight-time NBA All-Star, he is the only player whose career spanned four decades – from the 1990s to the 2020s.
He began his professional career with the Toronto Raptors before going on to play for the Nets, Magic, Suns, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Kings and Hawks.
Carter retired from basketball in 2020 following a two-year spell with the Atlanta Hawks.
He played 1,541 games over 22 seasons in the NBA.
The former shooting guard recently became the only Raptors player to have his number – No15 – retired.
The Brooklyn Nets will also retire the number.
Since retiring from the game, Carter has pursued a career as a basketball analyst for TV.
