The N2 between bridges 18 and 19 on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast has been closed in both directions following a horrific head-on collision near Mandeni.
A truck was involved in a collision with a taxi transporting learners on Friday morning, 11 October.

Emergency service IPSS medical Rescue said they arrived on scene to total carnage as there was a horrific head on collision between a vehicle carrying children and a truck. So far, eight people have been confirmed dead and six are high school children.
