(CAÑON CITY, Colo.) — The Cañon City Police Department (CCPD) said a man has been arrested for the possession of child pornography after a two-year investigation.
According to CCPD, 27-year-old Geoffrey Vickers was arrested on Oct. 2 in Larimer County. The arrest is the result of an investigation that started in July of 2022. CCPD said detectives were able to connect Vickers to about 300 GB worth of child sexual abuse material data.
According to a software system used for eDiscovery in other jurisdictions and litigation consultant digitalwarroom.com, the amount of data recovered would be the equivalent of 4,650,000 printed images.
Vickers is facing 104 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a child (20+ items), a class three felony.
