Boots Black Friday 2024: what to expect this November

BOOTS Black Friday deals are all we can think about as November creeps closer and closer – but when is the Boots Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale?

Boots often treats shoppers with weekly deals, but the Boots Black Friday deals, which typically span across fragrance, make-up, skincare, beauty tools, grooming, are the best deals out of the entire year in my opinion.

Black Friday usually falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, or the fourth Friday in November, while Cyber Monday is the following Monday after that weekend.

But, this year Black Friday is pencilled in our diaries for Friday 29th November.

If previous years are anything to go by – and we have lived, and worked, through a number of them – Black Friday deals often start dropping well in advance of this date.

Boots is one of the retailers we can rely on to kickstart the sale extravaganza – last year the longstanding retailer launched its Black Friday sale on 1st November.

However, the leading health and beauty label has remained tight-lipped about its Black Friday sale.

But, that is why I am here to update you as soon as I know more, as well as help those shopping beauty to find the best beauty deals in the sea of offers in Boots Black Friday sale.

Alongside the array of deals, Boots has brought back its popular Star Gifts, with many of them better than half-price – even a Boots insider has teased the deals will be better than ever.

If you love fragrance, you can expect savings on plenty of top designer perfumes, but if skincare is your preference, you will be spoilt for choice too.

I will be keeping my eyes peeled on some of my personal favourite beauty products to stock up on for the year, which includes the entire range from Garnier’s Vitamin C serum with SPF, the L’Oréal Paris anti-ageing duo serum, and L’Oréal’s Glotion that left my skin glowing.

When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday comes around once every year.

The meaning behind Black Friday is often disputed.

As a rule of thumb, Black Friday always falls immediately after the Thanksgiving holiday, which is the fourth Thursday in November every year.

With that in mind Black Friday is every fourth Friday in that month.

However, this year Black Friday actually falls on the fifth Friday in November, which is November 29.

However, it is unknown whether Boots will launch its sale earlier like it did last year.

Having said that, some of the best Black Friday deals are typically saved for Black Friday, and the deals leading up to the main event are a teaser ahead of the main event.

Is Boots taking part in Black Friday this year?

Yes, Boots will be taking part in Black Friday sale this year.

The popular retailer has yet to confirm the exact date it will be launching its Black Friday deals, but I have it on good authority Boots Black Friday sale will be returning again this year.

An insider also told me Boots Black Friday will be bigger and better than ever before, with hundreds of deals launching across big brands, including No7, Sol de Janeiro, Byoma, and even Laneige.

Boots has told us the Star Gifts will return once again, which is music to my ears, as these limited-edition deals can see select items reduced by up to 50%.

What to expect from Boot’s Black Friday sale 2024

Boots Black Friday sale is fast approaching, but the exact date is top-secret.

However, as soon as Boots shares these details I will update you.

Boots’ Black Friday sale is set to include hundreds of deals and discounts, Star Gifts, as well as limited-edition bundles exclusive to Boots.

While the Black Friday date, and deals, remain a mystery, what I do know is there will be savings of up to half-price, which is huge.

One of the Star Gifts deals set to launch is Ted Baker Cosmetics Collection, which will be reduced from £50 down to £24.50, on 30th October.

Shoppers can expect deals on make-up cosmetics, skincare, haircare, beauty tools, fragrance, and much more.

Plus, those who have a Boots Advantage Card can save even more too.

So if you have yet to sign up, I would strongly advise you to do so, especially as it is free.

What was in Boots’ sale last year?

Last year there was much to be excited about, with thousands of reductions across the categories.

In fact, the health and beauty retailer claimed it was the “biggest ever Black Friday sale”, but in a recent meeting with a Boots representative they also hinted this year’s deals will be even better.

Shoppers were treated to better than half-price savings across a wide range of categories, including fragrance, mum and baby, beauty and tech last year.

When does Boots’ Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale end?

We know Boots’ Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have yet to launch, so to be thinking about the end date may seem odd.

But, forewarned is forearmed, and I like to know exactly how long I have to shop the window of deals.

Boots has yet to share when the Black Friday sale will launch, let alone when it will end.

Typically the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales end at midnight on Cyber Monday.

With that in mind I anticipate the discounts to end on Cyber Monday, which will be on 2nd December this year.

In previous years Boots has continued to drop exclusive deals, such as limited-edition festive bundles long into December 25.

But, if there is a particular item on your wish list, which has been reduced in the Black Friday sale, shop quickly so not to miss out.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is Boots taking part?

Black Friday typically takes place on the fourth Thursday in November, and the day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday comes the Monday after the Cyber Weekend.

This year, Cyber Monday will be marked on 2nd December.

What we do know is Boots will be taking part in the sale event and unmissable deals will be available to shop, the dates and products included are hush hush.

Boots has launched a huge range of advent calendars to shop this year, including beauty advent calendars.

Boots has launched three beauty and skincare advent calendars, which includes the brand new, and first ever, skincare advent calendar.

Shoppers can also shop beauty advent calendars from other brands at the retailer, including No7, Soap and Glory, and many more.

Whether the Boots beauty advent calendars will be included in Boots’ Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale is unknown.

However, if previous years are anything to go by, Boots has included beauty advent calendars in its Black Friday sale.

Last year, Boots reduced the price of select advents by 20%, while others were slashed by up to half-price.

Whether the same will happen this year is unknown.

Can you use a Boots Gift Card online?

Yes, shoppers can use gift cards online at Boots, as well as in-store.

However, e-gift cards are solely available to redeem online.

It is paramount to check the expiry date on any gift card, and to shop your wishlist while the gift card is still in date.

To redeem the gift card all you have to do is enter the long code, scratch off the security number, and input both details at the checkout.

Gift cards can be redeemed alongside any product, and if you do not have enough to pay the total value simply pay the remainder on your preferred payment method.

How much does Boots’ delivery cost? 

Boots has an order and collect service which costs £1.50 (or is free on orders over £15), which will see your item delivered to a nominated store by 12pm the next day (with some exclusions).

Standard delivery is free for orders over £25 or costs £3.50, while next-day delivery costs £4.95 and must be ordered by 10pm to qualify.

But, of course, shopping in store will remove any additional shipping costs.
