Last Friday, Iowa freshman Austin Ash shared photos from a wedding on his Instagram account.

The fourth snap displayed McCaffery as the caption read, “Wedding season.”

Caitlin Clark‘s boyfriend was spotted smiling while standing with his male friends, wearing a white shirt and black bow tie.

In the social media post comments, McCaffery wrote, “Hell of a run.”

Fans did notice that Clark did not appear alongside him.

It’s not yet known whether the No. 1 overall pick was invited to the wedding.

The previous weekend, Clark was seen with McCaffery and her teammate Lexie Hull at the Indianapolis Colts‘ 27-24 home win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

And days earlier, on September 26, the 22-year-old won the WNBA Rookie of the Year Award.

Clark shared photos on her Instagram story which recounted her journey.

One of the photos was of her being drafted in the pros in April and being backstage with her boyfriend.

The pic showed Clark being declared the top draft pick and hugged McCaffery, who appeared alongside her at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The caption of the picture read, “Connor-M30, I’m so lucky.”

Clark and McCaffery began dating in April 2023.

He is the son of Fran McCaffery, who’s been the men’s basketball head coach at Iowa since 2010.

The elder McCaffery even coached his son during his Hawkeyes career.

The youngster McCaffery currently works as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers.

Clark saw her first WNBA season end after her Fever lost to the Connecticut Sun in the playoffs last month.

After receiving the Rookie of the Year award, the NCAA all-time leading scorer revealed a message to her fans.

“I am incredibly honored to be named Rookie of the Year,” she said.

“But more than that, I am grateful to everyone that supported me throughout this past season.

“My family and friends, my teammates, the Fever organization and everyone that cheered us on all season.

“I am so proud of what we accomplished and so excited for what the future holds.”
