Fans shocked as pop star with huge top 5 album is spotted singing to drinkers in tiny pub

FANS of a major popstar have been left shocked after spotting him performing to a tiny audience in a local pub.

The singer and rapper was spotted singing at his local pub, The Auld Shillelagh in his hometown of Stoke Newington in Hackney.

Maverick Sabre, 34, achieved fame in the early 2010s thanks to a run of successful hits and his popular debut album.

In a clip shared on TikTok this week, Maverick could be seen belting out a tune in front of stunned pubgoers.

He was accompanied by a guitarist for the acoustic performance as he walked up and down the pub to sing aloud to the guests.

In awe at the impressive performance, the lucky pubgoer said: “This mans vocals are so clean.”

Commenting underneath the video clip, one fan said: “Where have you been maverick??? I have missed that beautiful voice step on it and released some new stuff good to see you.”

Another added: “Love maverick omg! What a treat.”

Before a third penned: “Noooo way, ur so lucky I would have cried.”

As a fourth said: “Maverick’s voice is perfection.”

Maverick missed out on the top of the album charts when his debut effort Lonely Are The Brave hit number two on the UK Albums Charts in January 2012.

Released by Mercury Records, it ended the year as the 45th best-selling album in the UK.

The record produced five singles including Let Me Go which reached number 16 and was Maverick’s first ever chart entry.

In recent years, the performer has struggled to achieve the same levels of success with his more recent albums missing the top 40.

However, Maverick is hoping to bounce back with the release of his next record, Burn The Right Things Down, due for release later this month.

His latest single, Lay Down On Me, was released via GRM Daily earlier this week.
