KANSAS City Chiefs star Bailey Zappe’s wife has shared an incredible personal announcement.
The Chiefs ace is the backup quarterback to MVP sensation Patrick Mahomes, should he go down injured.

Before his team’s 26-13 win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, his wife put up an emotional post.
Zappe’s partner Hannah announced she was expecting their first child together, due in February 2025.
She was seen in an Instagram post image holding up a scan as the NFL QB cradled her growing bump.
Hannah’s post caption read: “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby Zappe February 2025.”
It also had a blue heart emoji included, suggesting the pair were having a boy.
Chiefs fans reacted with delight at the news, rushing to social media to offer their congratulations.
One said: “Oh my gahhhhhhh not baby fever AND zappe fever!!! Congratulations!!”
Another added: “Little Zappe!! Congrats!!”
And one replied: “Baby coming soon!!!”
A fan commented: “So exciting!! Congratulations on the little blessing.”
A fifth replied: “So happy for the Zappe fam.”
Zappe is the Chiefs’ third choice quarterback behind Carson Wentz.
He joined the Super Bowl winners in August on their practice squad.
It came after the 25-year-old was released by the New England Patriots.
Three and out
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are expecting their third child, the power couple announced.
But Chiefs quarterback Mahomes insisted there won’t be any more.
“I’m done, I’ll say that,’ he told reporters at Chiefs training camp with a smile.
“I always said three [children] and I’m done. No, it’s awesome. I always wanted to have kids young.
“I got to grow up in the locker room. I think I’ve talked about it before, and it made such an impact in my life.
“And so, I wanted to have kids young and we’re having a third kid now to join our family.”
He has yet to seen any action on the field during the NFL regular season.
However, he is getting valuable experience on the practice field with Mahomes.
Zappe met Hannah while the pair were together at the Houston Baptist University in 2017
They tied the not on 3 July 2024 at a secluded lake in Montana.
They kept their nuptials quiet, with just 33 guests attending the ceremony.
Zappe was drafted in the fourth-round by the Patriots in 2022.
