(WSPA) – Teams from FEMA are back on the ground in counties across the Upstate today.
Disaster Assistance Teams primarily focus on addressing the needs of underrepresented populations that may be hard to reach by traditional channels.
Team members will meet with anyone who comes to one of the dedicated sites and pre-register them for disaster assistance, review applications, provide basic information about application status and other eligible assistance, and collect documents for case files.
Disaster assistance team sites change daily, and FEMA is working to establish more permanent locations.

- Greenville: University of Center of Greenville 225 S. Pleasantburg
- Laurens: The Ridge at Laurens 301 Exchange Rd, Laurens, SC 29360
- Abbeville: Abbeville County Library 1407 North a main Street
- Anderson: Anderson County Library 300 North McDuffy Street
- Cherokee : Alma Elementary School 213 Alma Street, Gaffney
- Aiken: ALDIs parking lot 2510 Whisky Road
- Saluda: Christ Central of Saluda 208 N Main St, Saluda
Crews will be at each site until 5 p.m.
