VICKSBURG, MS – A Meet the Candidates Forum will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Warren County Courthouse Circuit Courtroom, 1009 Cherry Street, Vicksburg, MS.
This Forum will provide the opportunity for voters to get to know the candidates and provide an opportunity for the candidates to get their message to voters.
All candidates for United States President, Senate, and House of Representatives; Judicial positions; and Election Commissioner and School Board whose names will appear on the November 5 General Election ballot in Warren County have been invited to participate.
The Meet the Candidates Forum is sponsored by members of the Vicksburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., who have partnered with the First Mississippi Chapter of Blacks In Government, the Vicksburg Branch of the NAACP, the Medgar and Angela Scott Foundation, Omicron Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Mu Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
