Boy, 15, stabbed in rush hour knife attack at Sloane Square tube station as horrified commuters left ‘traumatised’

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed at Sloane Square Underground station.

The teen was knifed at the busy London station just before 3.20pm today and taken to a major trauma centre.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 15.27hrs on Monday, 07 October to reports of a stabbing on Lower Sloane Street, Sloane Square.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found who they believe to be a 15-year-old boy, suffering from a stab injury.

“He has been taken to hospital and we await an update on his condition.

“Enquiries continue.

“No arrests have been made at this time.”

“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the police on 101 quoting CAD 4534/07OCT.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org.”

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.26pm on Monday 7 October to reports of a stabbing at Sloane Square Underground Station, SW1W.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
