“Why did you decide to wear a headband for the Ms Rachel outfit?” she said in her TikTok video from off-screen, holding up the knotted headband.

She then came onto the camera screen, with her brunette hair sticking up erratically around her face.

Ms Rachel then put the headband on – pushing the hairs down in the process.

“It’s just cute,” she joked.

She added in the caption: “True story.

“A busy mum with no time to wash hair + lots of short hairs – threw on a headband and that’s how its started.”

The comments section was immediately filled with people praising the TV star for her honesty.

“Hahahahaha this is so relatable OMG,” one wrote.

“I LOVVVEEEEE IT Ms Rachel! Work it!” another added.

“I started wearing headbands after this one time I was going into the grocery store and older man walk past me and said to his wife, ‘looks like she’s been electrocuted!’” a third commented.

“Ms Rachel those baby hairs are curly!!” someone else said.

“Just mist them a bunch with some water, then a little hair spray.”

“That makes sense! I will try!!!” Rachel replied.

“As a curly hair girly, baby hair is the real enemy,” another sighed.

“My husband jokes that to our son Ms. Rachel is just me with better hair,” someone else laughed.

“I’m showing him this!”

Who is Ms Rachel?

SHE’S arguably the most famous person on kids’ TV at the moment, and has just had a whole line of toys and booked released for her fans.

But just where did Ms Rachel come from, and how did she find fame?

Ms Rachel’s real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, and she worked as a music teacher in a public pre-school in New York before starting her YouTube channel.

The Songs for Littles channel was created after she discovered there were barely any resources for her son, who had a speech delay.

The tunes, made up from classic children’s songs and nursery rhymes, with a twist, were composed by Rachel and her husband – Broadway composer Aron Accurso.

She also started on TikTok, where she acquired over two and a half million followers by March 2023.

She has also faced her fair share of controversy, such as when she offered to sell Cameo videos to raise money for Save the Children – mentioning the Gaza Strip, Sudan, Ukraine, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Rachel said she was “bullied online” for the move, and has since disabled comments on some of her Instagram, TikTok and YouTube posts.

The highly-anticipated Ms Rachel toys were released in September, and are expected to be one of the biggest sellers this Christmas.

As another insisted: “NEVER QUESTION MS RACHEL’s CHOICES!”

Ms Rachel has become so synonymous with her outfit that when the highly-anticipated dolls of her were released, they were all wearing the pink top, headband and denim dungarees.

The same goes for the books, which caused near hysteria among parents desperate to get them for their Ms Rachel-mad kids when they hit shelves.

In a previous TikTok video, she explained that she started wearing the dungarees when she was teaching her class in New York in person.

She admitted the all-in-ones made her feel “fun and childlike”.

“And I’ve always loved pink, I just think it’s a really pretty colour,” Rachel added.
