Huge noughties rock band announce shock reunion seven years on from the release of their last record as they confirm brand new album and tour

The Horrors have reunited for a new album and tour.

The rock band consists of Faris Badwan, Joshua Hayward, Rhys Webb and Jordan Cook.

They reunited in 2005 with Tom Furse and Joseph Spurgeon, but were replaced by keyboardist Amelia Kidd during a major reunion.

During their initial run they became known for hits such as Strange House and Who Can Say and their latest studio album, titled V, was released in 2017.

But their new record Night Life will be released on March 21, 2025 and the band will also play a series of live dates.

The band wrote on Instagram: ‘We will be playing some special, intimate UK shows in November and December.

‘Anyone who pre-ordered through our online store will automatically be entered into the pre-sale, from Friday the 4th at 10am to Tuesday 6pm BST.

‘We look forward to seeing you there. There’s no point in looking back.’

Despite being gone for years, the band has managed to amass a social media following of over 40,000 fans.

The indie band released their comeback single The Silence That Remains on October 2.

Before that, the band teased in September that something was planned.

They wrote on Instagram: ‘THE GREEKS ARE NEVER FINISHED, THE GREEKS ARE BACK, THE GREEKS HAVE NEVER GONE.’

In 2006 they had signed a deal with Loog Records and the music video for their debut single Sheena Is a Parasite starred a young Samantha Morton.

During their latest album campaign, singer Faris, 38, admitted they almost split for good.

He told GQ: ‘We didn’t enjoy it and didn’t get along. It’s weird, I look around and it doesn’t seem to have worked for a lot of people.

“The thing is, I’m always going to be doing things, and probably some of it will be by myself. I’m terrified of boredom.
