Since then, it was decided that every year, this day should be commemorated on October 5, as a symbol of power to teachers, making them even stronger in their role.
This day reminds us that teacher’s contributions don’t remain only for lecturing in schools but form an essential part of society’s development. We can convey our thanks to the teachers on this day and acknowledge the effort that they put in.
It is observed that the day is celebrated in all schools and colleges with special ceremonies. Speeches, music, dance, and special gifts are showered on teachers by students. In some places, the fruits of toil and hard work are offered to teachers through special assemblies and events.
We should thank the teachers and then try to make them strong. It is not an event like today but it’s an important step for the evolution of our society. It’s the most important part of our life; so, we should respect and try to help the teachers.
World Teachers’ Day is no celebration at all, but it indicates the greatness of teachers and our responsibility towards them.
