Map: Where the new round of tiny homes will be built in San Jose

Over the next 18 months, San Jose plans to add 784 tiny homes as part of the city’s long-term strategy to combat homelessness.

The map above shows the five sites where the interim shelters will go.

1/ Cerone. About 200 beds on land owned by the Valley Transportation Authority.

2/ Cherry Avenue. 96 people will be accommodated on water district land in the Blossom Valley neighborhood.

3/ Monterey/Branham. About 200 beds.

4/ Rue Ferrari. Currently accommodates 124 people. The $30 million expansion, which contractors said could be completed by September 2025, will add 144 beds, in 72 single-occupancy rooms and 36 doubles.

5/ Via Del Oro. 150 people will be accommodated in 75 units being built on a parcel leased for $1 a year from developer/philanthropist John Sobrato.
