Special Correctionville City Council Meeting – September 25, 2024
CALL TO ORDER: The Correctionville City Council met in Special session on September 25, 2024, at the Correctionville City Hall. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mayor Ken Bauer.
ROLL CALL: Council members answering roll: Adam Petty, Ciara Alioth, Nathan Heilman and Bob Beazley. Absent: Kourtnee Mammen. City attorney was represented by Chad Thompson who called in over the phone.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion by Petty, 2nd by Beazley to approve the agenda. Passed 4/0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion by Petty, 2nd by Beazley to close the regular meeting at 6:01 p.m. and go into a public hearing to open bids for the sale of Lot 5, Nelle Belle Addition to the Town of Correctionville, Woodbury County, Iowa. Jon Zahner bid $9,900.00 on Lot 5. No questions or complaints were received in the clerk’s office. With no other bids, motion by Petty, 2nd by Beazley to close the public hearing at 6:03 p.m. Passed 4/0.
Motion by Petty, 2nd by Beazley approving Resolution 2024-55, for the sale of Lot 5, Nelle Belle Addition to the Town of Correctionville, Woodbury County, Iowa, to Jon Zahner in the amount of $9,900.00. Roll call. Passed 4/0.
OTHER BUSINESS:
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:04 PM
