‘They stepped up their game’ shoppers cry as Lidl launches £1.99 versions of viral Lush buys & there’s Aesop dupes too

THE HIGH street retailer Lush recently sent its fans into a frenzy with their brand new body sprays and lotions.

From a sweet caramel scent to something more refreshing, there seems to be something for everyone – however, if you don’t want to fork out a fortune on skincare, the discount brand Lidl has come to rescue.

The popular store has long been a firm fan favourite when it comes to purse-friendly dupes of viral products – and their latest range is no exception.

Now, shoppers have been taking to social media to rave over their brand new collection they reckon is full of affordable alternatives to Lush items.

The budget supermarket recently launched its very own Lush-inspired Deluxe shower gel range, priced at just £1.99.

The huge 500ml bottles bear a striking resemblance to the iconic high street products – and customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding the perfect scent.

If you’re on the lookout for the dupe of Rose Jam then check out Lidl’s Dizzy Rose – while the bright ocean blue Mintilicious Tingle is similar to Dirty.

If you love Lush’s Sleepy, Lidl’s Relax shower gel is the pick you should go for – and there’s also something for those who love to lather in a more sweet aroma.

The discount supermarket’s Honey I’m Home scent is believed to be a dupe of the original Honey I Washed the Kids, which sells for an astronomical £26 for a 520ml bottle.

After spotting the new beauty arrivals, one customer, Colette Goodship, said on Facebook: ”Lush dupes in lidis £1.99 each!!! Smell unreal!!”

Another fan of the retailer couldn’t wait to get her hands on the goodies, writing: ”Going to get the whole collection!”

A third added: ”So pleased I got some yesterday!! The rose one was too strong for me, but got one of each of the others – they smell amazing.”

Elsewhere, on TikTok, pro facialist Roxanne Simpson said: ”They finally stepped up their game with their dupes.

”I got the Honey I’m Home – it smells so nice.”

Whilst browsing the store, Roxanne (@roxanne_simpson19) also stumbled across budget-friendly alternatives to the viral Aesop products.
