A MANHUNT has been launched for a masked thug who threw acid over schoolchildren before fleeing.
As the search enters its second day, with no arrests being made so far, cops are desperate for witnesses to come forward as a boy, 16, and a girl, 14, remain in hospital.
Met Police are now hunting a suspect they have described as a tall, slim, black male.
He was wearing dark clothing with his face obscured, possibly by a mask or balaclava, the forced added.
The alleged thrower also rode an e-scooter to and from the scene.
