THIS is the dramatic moment a bus burst into flames – blocking a major road and sparking chaos as the fire engulfed the double-decker.
Fire crews were called at 3.27am to the blaze on the A470 near Merthyr Tydfil in south Wales.
The bus was completely destroyed by the heat but no-one was injured and crews later handed control of the clean-up to the council.
The last fire crews left the scene at 3.54am yesterday morning after putting out the blaze.
The A470 remained closed for some time from Defynnog to Hirwaun in both directions.
