News release from the City of Morganton:
Please be aware that water, sewer and power are still days away from restoration. We have had assistance from Greenville Electric to help with the clean up and restoration of power. There are multiple public works departments working to clean the streets and trees off of power lines.
Please do not attempt to cut a tree yourself if it is laying on a power line. Please continue to conserve water, due to the water plant not being in operation. We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.
