Port Gibson took down Crystal Springs in a 54-41 win

Port Gibson High School football took down Crystal Springs in a high-scoring 54-41 win on Friday. The Blue Waves bounced back from last week’s loss as they are now 3-2 on the season.

Raphael Neal scored a total of five touchdowns in the win as he threw three scores and ran for two. He threw a 15 and 20-yard touchdowns to Kejaylen Edwards and a 30-yarder to Carome Carroll. Neal’s rushing scores went for two and five yards.

Jeremy Brandon ran for a 60-yard touchdown and Damion Young had a 55-yard score. Lenelle Snyder and Damion Young had three 2-point conversions.

Jakyron Barnes, Corey Johnson, and Louis Thomas all led the Blue Waves in tackles.

PG will travel to face Jefferson County.
