Teen injured in stabbing at South San Francisco High School

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — Police on Friday arrested a 14-year-old student in connection with a stabbing at South San Francisco High School.

The incident happened around noon at the campus, located at 400 B St., South San Francisco police Lt. Amy Sariotti said in a news release.

Police determined the victim, a 16-year-old student, was stabbed during a physical altercation. The teen was taken to an area trauma center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

“This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community,” Sariotti said.
