She revealed it was all down to visiting his new pub, The Farmer’s Dog[/caption]

She said: “So Jeremy Clarkson is actually paying my mortgage this month, which sounds absolutely crazy to say, uh, but it’s true.”

Ali revealed that although he was paying for her share of the mortgage she splits with her partner – he had no idea he was helping her financially.

And the reason why was all down to social media.

The young woman had been making content on TikTok and recently visited Jeremy Clarkson’s new pub located near her called The Farmer’s Dog.

The new pub comes off the back of the huge success Jeremy saw with his Clarkson Farm also located in the Cotswolds which became a hit TV show as he showed the difficulties farmers face.

Showing people around the new pub which features a pop-up coffee station, a shop and restaurant with incredible views of the rolling hills, it makes the perfect lunch spot for a weekend away in the countryside.

Fortunately, Ali had just been accepted onto TikTok’s creator fund and the video, which featured the man himself, went viral with over 2 million views – leading her visit to pay for her mortgage this month.

Ali added: “Luckily for me, I had just been accepted onto the Creator Fund the day before, which was just a miracle, to be honest.

“And yeah, it did really well, I had a really good RPM on it as well.

“And although he’s not paying the full mortgage, he is paying my portion of the mortgage.”

The RPM is how TikTok calculates how much money the creator should get each time someone watches their video for longer than a minute.

TikTok bosses say: “The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors – including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

“No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund.

“The Creator Fund total varies daily and is dependent on the amount of videos published by our community that day – so this will fluctuate based on the amount of content being published.”

Meet the cast of Clarkson’s Farm
