SHANIA Twain rocked a blue cardigan ahead of the People’s Choice Country Awards – and fans think they’ve found a hidden meaning behind it.
Singer Shania, 59, looked gorgeous in a snap shared to Instagram yesterday from her trip to Nashville.

The Grammy winner sported the “1989” garment from Taylor Swift‘s merchandise collection with black leggings, trainers and a white baseball cap
She wrote in her caption: “Giddy up, Nashville! The city is already treating me well ahead of the @peopleschoice country awards #PCCAs.”
Her followers were left beside themselves with excitement that a collaboration with the superstar could be on the cards.
While nothing’s been confirmed by either party, fans went wild in the comments’ section.
One wrote: “Omg the TAYLOR SWIFT CARDIGAN AHH a Shania and Taylor collab, when???”
Another said: “Taylor Swift sweater something is coming? Sing together U and Taylor ???”
Someone else asked: “1989 cardigan, can we expect a collab? this would be truly awesome! two of my fav queens!”
Held at the Grand Ole Opry, Shania took on hosting duties for this year’s ceremony, which featured performances from the likes of Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, and Lady A.
Miranda went home with the Country Icon Award while Jelly Roll won Male Country Artist of the Year and Lainey Wilson received the award for Female Country Artist of the Year.
It’s not the first time Shania has teased a musical partnership with Taylor.
Last year, she shared a mash-up of her hit, Man! I Feel Like A Woman with Taylor’s Look What You Made Me Do, prompting a flood of comments from fans.
Taylor, who has long been vocal about Shania’s influence on her career, has been pictured with the music legend over the years.
They even appeared on stage together at the AMAs in 2019, proving there’s no rivalry between the pair, as had been speculated.
Shania celebrated her birthday last month, sharing an Instagram post to thank fans for all their kind words.
The country legend uploaded a compilation video showing moments from different performances, including from her current Come On Over residency.
Shania’s residency is playing at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The video was set to her 1997 hit song, Man! I Feel Like A Woman!
It featured her in multiple outfits, including one showing her in a nude bodysuit paired with tiny white booty shorts.
In the caption, Shania referred to herself as a “queen” and thanked fans for their birthday messages.
“Today is my birthday and I’m feeling like a bada** queen!” she wrote.
“Thank you for all the love and birthday messages, I love you guys! AND I can’t wait to celebrate with you all in Vegas this week. Who’s coming out to a show?
“Let’s go totally crazy and have a s**t kicking time!!” she concluded.
For her birthday performance, Shania was also joined onstage by Boyz II Men, who made a surprise appearance.
