GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – One person is dead and two others were injured in a crash Tuesday night in Greenville County.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office responded before 9 p.m. to a two-car collision at the intersection of South Line Street and East Poinsett Street in Greer.
Details of what led to the fatal crash have not been released at this time.
Investigators said three individuals involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Hours later, one of the victims was pronounced deceased.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the individual as 63-year-old Johnny Carlton Elder, of Greer.
The crash remains under investigation by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and Greer Police Department.
