The City of Niceville hosted its annual fall festival on October 22, drawing around 1,000 attendees to the Niceville Children’s Park in the Government Complex on Partin Drive. The event was a hit among families, especially those with young children, as the park transformed into a hub of festive activities.

One of the main attractions was the pony rides, featuring ponies dressed up as unicorns. Children were eager to take their turn, with some parents waiting in line for up to an hour to secure a short but memorable three-minute ride for their little ones. Despite the long wait, the joy on the children’s faces made it all worthwhile.

In addition to the pony rides, the festival featured several kid-friendly activities. A popular candy fishing booth kept children entertained, while other stations allowed them to create their own candy bags. Many youngsters arrived in costume, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere.

The event also included a special performance by the Ruckel Middle School majorettes, who showcased their skills to an appreciative audience. With its blend of entertainment and seasonal fun, the fall festival provided an exciting day for the Niceville community to celebrate autumn together.
